TinkerTopia

Brief

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Solution

I designed tall, vertical banners that blend way finding, exhibit descriptions, and thematic messaging into a cohesive system. Using bold typography, bright colors, and simple geometric shapes inspired by the blue blocks activity in the exhibit, the banners capture children’s attention while remaining clear for families. Each highlights a gallery theme, guiding visitors through activities and reinforcing discovery. Informational and directional text encourages participation, adding to the playful, curiosity driven identity while alignment with the museum’s style guide ensures consistency.

Visitor Experience Signage

Brief

The Gateway Science Museum needed updated sandwich board signage to better communicate with visitors, including messages for open hours, field trip information, and social media engagement.

Solution:

I developed a signage system rooted in Gateway Science Museum’s brand identity to create clear, engaging communication for visitors. Each sign was designed for a specific audience, such as field trip guides or general visitors, and used a consistent color palette, typography, and iconography to unify messaging. The double-sided boards serve dual purposes, welcoming guests on arrival and providing farewell or follow-up information upon exit. Together, the signs strengthen brand recognition while guiding and connecting visitors from entry to exit.
